This week’s Pork Industry Group session was a celebration of leadership and resilience, featuring the inspiring panel “Real Talk - Women in Pork.” We were honored to hear from these amazing women: • Dottie King of King Farms, a seasoned contract farmer with a passion for her family and community. • Stacie Smith of Seaboard Foods, a scheduling and capacity manager who keeps the pork supply chain moving. • Hannah Trujillo of Tyson Foods, a dedicated farm supervisor and mother of four. These women are inspiring leaders in the pork industry, balancing demanding roles with grace and grit. From managing thousands of sows and coordinating millions of hog movements to raising families and pursuing personal passions, they are redefining leadership in agriculture. Thank you for sharing your experiences and knowledge with us!

This afternoon, the Seaboard Women’s Alliance came together for an insightful session led by Brea Schuck, SHRM-CP, Sr. HR Generalist for Seaboard Foods, on the critical role of civility in the workplace. Brea presented eye-opening data from SHRM’s latest study, revealing how incivility impacts productivity and employee mental health. The discussion was both engaging and practical, as attendees explored strategies for navigating uncivil behavior and learned how to advocate for a more respectful culture—both at work and beyond.
