As the week wraps up, we’re happy to highlight recent engagements showcasing our partners’ commitment to driving innovation in Africa and Europe!🌍 ⭐In South Africa, our partner, ENRICH in Africa - EiA, played a role in the #Afrilabs Gathering at the CTICC in Cape Town. This gathering brought together key players in Africa’s tech ecosystem—policymakers, researchers, innovators, investors, and entrepreneurial support organizations—all aligned on advancing the continent’s innovation landscape. During the Cape Town ecosystem tour, they welcomed over 70 participants to the ENRICH in Africa Cente office, where the CEO, Zandile Ntuli, shared the inspiring journey of ENRICH in Africa - EiA and its mission to foster AU-EU partnerships for knowledge and tech transfer in Africa. Tendai Pasipamire, introduced our project SEADE's latest digital tools for the researchers, while Melanie Mwangi, demonstrated how ESOs can leverage the ENRICH in Africa platform to boost their sales pipeline and impact. Thomas Bongani Hart from Methys Group, provided a deep dive into SEADE and its goals to strengthen research collaboration between Africa and Europe, while Christophe Viarnaud, CEO of Methys Group, added rich insights into Cape Town’s tech history. ⭐In Brussels, our partner Covadonga Rayón Barcelona from EBN - European Business & Innovation Centre Network attended the #AfricaCharter event, which focused on advancing transformative research collaborations between Africa and the world. This impactful day addressed the implications of the Charter's aspirations on AU-EU R&I policy, including the AU-EU Innovation Agenda.
