As we close out 2024, we’re reflecting on a year filled with milestones at SecureIT—where cybersecurity excellence and customer success is at the core of everything we do. 🚀 Key Highlights: We supported 70+ clients across 115 engagements—helping organizations navigate their FedRAMP, StateRAMP, and CMMC compliance journeys, and assisting them with Penetration Testing, Cyber Advisory & Solutions, and ongoing ConMon activities. A major highlight? Playing a pivotal role in PreVeil’s FedRAMP journey to achieve their FedRAMP Moderate Equivalency, enabling them to play a key role in the CMMC DIB ecosystem. (Read more at the link) We also went ‘all-in’ on our Amazon Web Services (AWS) partnership, setting the stage for a breakthrough year in partnership with the AWS GSCA team. We continued to invest in our expertise, with numerous team members obtaining certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CISSP, and CompTIA Security+. None of this would be possible without our hardworking team and the trust of our incredible clients. As we head into 2025, we’re ready to keep pushing boundaries, empowering businesses with robust cybersecurity strategies, and expanding our impact. What an incredible evening! 💜 Over 700 supporters came together to raise an astounding $1.6M for Children's National Hospital — far surpassing our goal and setting a new record for the White Hat Gala! 🎉 A special thank you to the amazing committee, generous donors, the inspiring Sumakh, whose story moved us all, and the foundation team. The event was a success because of your hard work and dedication to the cause. A special thank you also goes out to our friends and partners in the AWS GSCA program who supported the cause, fellow WHG committee member Timothy Sandage, Schellman, Second Front, RISCPoint , 38North Security, and Fortreum. It’s an honor to be part of this event, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved together. A note on the attached release from Les Buday - Managing Director | CMMC + Federal Compliance "The official 'CMMC Program Rule' is now FINAL and will be effective as of December 16, 2024. This represents an earlier effective date than previously forecasted.   Still in process (i.e., under review) is the “CMMC Acquisition Rule”, which will enable DoD Acquisitions to start applying the CMMC Program Rule into solicitations. That application will come via DFARS Clause 252.204-7021, Contractor Compliance with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Level Requirement. This rule is still targeted for release in Q2/Q3 2025.   In the meantime, DIB contractors wanting to get assessed (commonly referred to as Organizations Seeking Assessment or OSAs) can now (in December) officially start engaging C3PAOs for CMMC Certification aligned to the Final Rule." #CMMC #FinalRule #OSA
