  • Should you fire your accountant? It is not an easy question nor an easy answer. As Accountants we become the hero of the story when you love your results and the villain when you don’t. The fact is sometimes the results are from lack of planning and understanding. You and possibly your accountant have been reactive instead of proactive. You are frustrated because year after year you still owe thousands and sometimes hundreds of thousands in taxes. As your revenue grows you find yourself bleeding in taxes. You aren’t satisfied with the answers or level of support from your accountant. They can’t seem to explain why this happens again and again. And more importantly how to keep it from happening again. How do you know if the problem is your tax strategy, something you are doing or something your accountant is doing? We get it, building a 7-Figure Business wasn’t easy. Balancing the demands of a team, investing in your future and maintaining the creative space you need to keep producing takes a lot of effort. The last thing you want is for all that hard work and high revenue to continuously leave you with low profits and a huge tax bill. Let’s get you unstuck and answer this question as to what your next steps need to be. Take our quiz and start getting some answers. https://lnkd.in/dePmQsXt ____________________________ Seven Figure Profits: The CPA firm that didn't get the "be boring" memo ✨ We're revolutionizing accounting with profit psychology—because let's face it, spreadsheets alone never made anyone jump out of bed in the morning. • The price tag she never expected Maria used to hate shopping. Not because she didn’t like nice things, but because she hated the judgmental stares when her mom pulled out that bright orange EBT card at the checkout. Back in the day, they called it “food stamps,” and, it felt like a scarlet letter. The cashier didn’t even try to hide her disapproval, rolling her eyes while Maria stood there clutching her little brother’s hand, wishing she could disappear. Maria promised herself one thing: one day she would have all the things she wanted and no one would ever look down on her again. Fast forward a decade, and Maria looked like she had it all. She was the boss of a $4M marketing agency, drove a G-Wagon, and posted selfies with champagne glasses at rooftop lounges. She was living "the life" and her followers ate it up: “Boss babe vibes,” “Secure the bag!” But what her highlight reel didn’t show was the cracks in her business—or in her confidence. Every bag she bought, every overpriced dinner, every flex, wasn’t about enjoying success. It was about proving she wasn’t that embarrassed little girl anymore. But the truth? That little girl still ran the show. Maria’s CFO had been on her case for months. “Maria, we’re bleeding cash. You’ve got to cut the personal spending.” She brushed him off with a smile and a “don’t worry, I’ve got this.” Because admitting the truth—admitting she felt like a fraud—was too painful. But reality hit when her card declined at a high-end boutique while buying yet another designer handbag she didn’t need. She laughed it off in front of the cashier, but inside, she felt like she was right back in that grocery store with her mom, wishing she could disappear. That night, sitting in her penthouse, surrounded by stuff she didn’t even like anymore, Maria finally let the walls come down. The guilt, the shame, and the fear of going back to being “less than” crashed over her like a wave. She realized she’d spent years chasing the feeling of enough—but no amount of money or stuff was ever going to give her that. So, Maria did the hardest thing she’d ever done: she stopped pretending. The next morning, she texted her CFO: “Let’s meet. I’m ready to fix this.” For the first time, she didn’t feel like she had to prove anything. And while it wasn’t glamorous, it was real. Because breaking free from the past isn’t about the money—it’s about letting go of the mask. ***************** Seven Figure Profits: The CPA firm that didn't get the "be boring" memo ✨ We're revolutionizing accounting with profit psychology—because let's face it, spreadsheets alone never made anyone jump out of bed in the morning. • Successful founders and CEOs are ditching the '24/7 grind' philosophy (and doing this instead) Yep, even after hitting 7-figure milestones it's easy to get stuck in hustle culture. Hustle culture is a key indicator for being 7-Figure Poor. It's because revenue alone doesn’t mean freedom—real success comes from intentional growth and creating space to enjoy both life and business. Here’s how high-earning CEOs like us have made the shift from hustle to flow and thus avoiding 7-Figure Poor: Define Your "Enough" – Bizarre, right? Yes, there is a space where it's ENOUGH. Just because you can make more, you may not need or want to. Clarify your fulfillment number financially and personally. Not every opportunity is worth the stress if it doesn’t align with your goals. So, first, get comfortable with what is enough. By the way, this does not mean you will never scale or grow, we’ll talk about this in a future post. Budget Your Time Like Money – Time is your greatest asset and resource. Track where your time goes. Delegate or automate tasks that don’t require your direct input to free yourself up for strategic growth and family. Being a big part of the day to day of your business is a recipe for getting stuck in hustle culture. Set a North Star – Establish principles for decision-making based on your personal values and goals, not just financial targets. This clarity helps you say “no” to distractions and “yes” to what matters. Embrace Downtime – Regular breaks are essential for innovation and prevent burnout. Budget time for rest and connection just as you would for R&D. If you’ve been saying to yourself “I don’t have time for a break” you know for sure you are stuck in hustle culture and headed straight for 7-Figure Poor. Focus on Stability and Legacy – Build wealth outside your business to create security. Diversified investments reduce stress and let you be more present in both work and life. These are some of the steps we guide our clients through in our 7-Figure Profits system. The great news is you can get a complimentary Hidden Assets Reveal in just 30 min. • Million-dollar paychecks but an empty bank account? It may sound impossible, but it's a reality for many successful creatives. Being adored by fans, performing on the biggest stages, or selling out shows doesn't always translate to financial stability. The truth is, a thriving career in the arts demands more than talent; it requires smart financial strategies. Without them, even those with seven-figure incomes can find themselves "7-Figure Poor." If you’re feeling the pressure of unpredictable income and constant hustle, it's time to rethink how you're building your wealth. • 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗜 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻𝘀 Some of the best lessons come from the most unexpected places When I was a little girl, I loved curling up on the couch to watch The Waltons. Each episode made me feel like I was stepping into a world where family and community carried you through, no matter how tough things got. I enjoyed every character—even though they didn’t look like me, I resonated with them—their quirks, their resilience, and the way they supported each other. But as an adult, watching it again, I’m learning something I didn’t understand before: how to survive with joy through the worst-case scenario in the economy. The Great Depression is something no one wants to think about, much less talk about. It’s terrifying, even for high-revenue professionals, to realize just how much can be lost when the economy takes a nosedive. But watching The Waltons dramatize their triumph over those difficult times revealed a few recession-proof lessons that I never noticed before—lessons that apply just as much today as they did back then. Here’s what stood out to me: 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 The heart of The Waltons was always the family. No matter how bad things got, their strength came from being together and supporting each other. For us, this lesson translates to creating strong relationships—not just with family, but with a trusted network that can support us through the highs and lows. These are the people who stand by you when the numbers on the balance sheet don’t look great and help you pivot when you need it most. That kind of bond is more valuable than anything in your portfolio. 𝗔𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿 One of the most striking things about the Walton family was how they always had something of value. Whether it was food from their farm, woodworking, or sewing skills, they were never completely without resources because they had something to offer in trade. The lesson here is that true wealth isn’t just in dollars and cents—it’s in what you can create, offer, or trade. For high-revenue earners, that means cultivating multiple streams of income or skills so that in tough times, you can pivot with what you have. It’s a reminder that diversification isn’t just for investments; it’s for life. Read more here - https://lnkd.in/ezKp_bRU

  • I was so disgusted! The weight gain had gotten out of control, and the last thing I wanted to do was shop for a formal dress. But with two upcoming events that required my best look, I had no choice. So, I began researching how to work with my “new” body shape. My personal stylist—who also happens to be my sister—helped guide me on what to look for. After some searching, I found a few styles in satin and silk. Reluctantly, I tried them on, and—POW! I couldn’t believe how good I looked. The dresses hugged me in all the right places, and for the first time in a while, I felt really beautiful and confident. There was something special about how the silk draped, flattering me in a way I didn’t expect. But what does any of this have to do with your life or business? Well, we talk a lot about the struggles of the “7-Figure Poor”—the many who hit major milestones but still feel a sense of dissatisfaction. It’s that sinking feeling when we realize our business—and life, because the two often bleed together—just isn’t where we thought it would be. But what if you found your silk? What if there’s something out there—an idea, a change, a shift—that could make your business and life feel fabulous again? Like wrapping yourself in the perfect material, the thing that transforms how you look and feel about everything? Your silk could be: A new offer A strategic partner Better leadership A leaner team The right team members Improved pricing A solid tax plan A shift in mindset or mission The list could go on, but the point is this: you might be one small tweak away from rediscovering that spark—what you’re missing to feel amazing in your life or business. So, take a moment. Think about it. What could be your secret silk? And how can you start embracing it today?

  • There’s a cruel irony in building a 7-figure business—one you dreamed of, sacrificed for, and built from the ground up—only to find yourself dreading waking up every morning. From the outside, you look like a success. The numbers speak for themselves, and the lifestyle you’ve created appears enviable. But inside, you’re unraveling. This is the reality for many high-performing entrepreneurs who’ve become trapped in what I call 7-Figure Poor. It’s when your business is thriving financially, but you aren’t. You’re not rich in time, joy, or purpose. Instead, your business feels like a weight pulling you down as you face expenses piling up, daily burnout creeping closer, and the fading love for what once fueled your passion. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. You didn’t set out to create something that would suffocate you. Yet here you are, waking up each day to a nightmare—one where the revenue is high, but the fulfillment is gone. The endless to-do lists, the increasing payroll, and the demands of keeping the machine running have sucked the life out of your original dream. The constant pressure to scale, stay relevant, and meet expectations feels like a heavy burden instead of the success story you envisioned. The worst part? You’re left feeling stuck. Walking away seems impossible, but staying feels unbearable. You find yourself questioning everything—your decisions, your purpose, and whether it’s all worth it. This isn’t the success you imagined, and the emotional toll is real. The burnout is no longer a distant threat—it’s hovering over you like a storm cloud that never dissipates. So, how do you escape? The first step is acknowledging this is where you are and hearing me when I say, it's all going to be ok. Repairing requires a mindset shift. Recognize that profit isn't just about money. It's about peace of mind, having control of your time, and creating a legacy that feels meaningful. Let’s realign and start trimming the excess weight—whether that’s financial obligations, unnecessary complexity, or emotional baggage. The goal isn’t just to keep growing the business, but to craft a life and legacy that feels balanced, rewarding, and sustainable. The nightmare doesn’t have to last forever. Your business can serve you again—if you let it. It’s time to wake up and rewrite the story. It starts with a conversation, visit my profile to get started.

You started feeling it at the mid 6-figure mark, something is wrong. That feeling of nausea at the pit of your stomach when you think about your business is the epitome of "7-Figure Poor". But wait, lets rewind... I mean, you made it! Your business is successful. Your family is proud and you can't believe those crazy deposits hitting the bank account almost daily. But then it happens... You start feeling exhausted and anxious as you pay bills. You look at the bank account and have no idea where all that revenue went. You are falling out of love with your business a little bit more each day. You are overwhelmed, your team is overwhelmed and you wonder, what in the world happened and how did things get so screwed up! How Does It Happen? Several factors are at play, ranging from external pressures like inflation to internal mindsets shaped by personal relationships with money. Inflation: The cost of living and doing business keeps rising, while your revenue may not be keeping up. Even if your income is increasing, inflation quietly erodes your buying power and profit margins, making it feel like you’re running just to stay in place. Taxes and Insurance: As your business grows, so do your tax obligations and insurance costs. Without the right strategies to manage these, you could be hemorrhaging money that should be going back into your pocket or your business. Business Expenses: Payroll, rent, software subscriptions, marketing—these operational costs often balloon as your business grows. If you’re not managing them tightly, they can swallow up much of your profit. Not working with the right clients at the right price point: Many business owners undercharge for their services or work with clients who demand too much for too little. If your pricing isn’t aligned with the value you provide, or if you’re constantly overdelivering to keep clients happy, your business will suffer. Overwhelm and Burnout: The pressure to maintain a 7-figure business can lead to mental and emotional exhaustion. When you’re burnt out, you can’t make clear, effective decisions, and the business—and your finances—start to suffer. Scarcity Mindset: Some entrepreneurs operate with a fear that success is fleeting, or that money could disappear as quickly as it came. This scarcity mindset can prevent you from making investments that would allow your business to grow sustainably. Indulgence Mindset: On the flip side, some business owners fall into the trap of spending lavishly once they reach the 7-figure mark. Generational Challenges with Money: Many entrepreneurs come from backgrounds where profit wasn’t a common discussion. There may be guilt, fear, or pressure to provide for others, making it difficult to focus on building personal profit. You can avoid or repair from the 7-Figure Poor Phenomenon. Grab a call with our team for practical advice on how to do it. No sales, no nonsense, only support - https://lnkd.in/eqZN3A4w
