It was awesome seeing the Washington Commanders honor ThunderCat Technology's CEO, Tom Deierlein, as a hometown hero at last night's game. Tom and ThunderCat Technology is a invaluable partner to ShadowDragon - just like players on the field. We like to think Tom's honor is what carried the Commanders to their victory last night. Way to go Tom, for sticking to your roots and supporting so many of our best and brightest in Northern Virginia - we're here for it all along the way. #OSINTforGood

In the Christmas [instant classic] Red One, Chris Evan’s character plays a famous hacker, The Wolf, who uses social media to target an employee and gain access to the National Oceanic Geology Administration and find Santa Claus. His nefarious client kidnaps Santa and nearly cancels Christmas. The Wolf is on the naughty list for most of the movie - only to redeem himself in true cinematic fashion. This Christmas, make sure you’re using #OSINTforGood. If not, you risk winding up on the naughty list - that is not a place you want to be… #OSINT #PAI

In any targeted attack, perpetrators conduct surveillance. That surveillance and planning can be detected and even monitored, allowing security teams to mitigate threats. Lone attackers with an emotional grievance often times post or communicate dismay, which can then be monitored by security teams. Our own Nico Dekens (Dutch_OsintGuy) has written about capitalizing on human emotion in social media and in investigations, here: https://hubs.la/Q030c_k90 ShadowDragon's SocialNet® and Horizon® Monitor can dig on entities and individuals of interest then pivot to Monitor in one click. Our reporting feature allows users to export an executive summary of an investigation or data of interest. Learn more at: https://hubs.la/Q030cT9J0 #OSINTforGood

Simple searches in ShadowDragon's OSINT software can expose vulnerabilities in corporate or executive security postures. Recently, a data leak of the popular workout application, Strava, exposed the locations of the world's most protected national leaders by exposing their security and advance teams' run and cycle routes. These types of threat assessments will identify security gaps and prevent attackers to gain clues about would-be targets.
