  • As we gather together with loved ones, with family, friends, our church and community, let us remember those who might be having a difficult time this year. For some, Christmas only highlights their loneliness and pain. What a privilege to show those who suffer that they are loved. May they see the Lord through our touches of kindness this season.

  • For the beauty of the earth For the beauty of the skies For the love that from our birth over and around us lies Lord of all to Thee we raise This our hymn of grateful praise For the beauty of each hour of the day and of the night Hill and vale and tree and flower; Sun and moon and stars of light Lord of all to Thee we raise This our hymn of grateful praise For the joy of human love; Brother, sister, parent, child Friends on earth and friends above; For all gentle thoughts and mild Lord of all to Thee we raise This our hymn of grateful praise. - Folliot S. Pierpoint, 1864

  • Christmas break is almost here! For kids and teens, we know what this means. Lots of free time. Free time can be great, and requires vigilance to keep kids safe. This is why She Is Safe has developed a few safety tips for your teens and children to protect themselves from anyone who want to exploit them. Here are a few helpful guidance tips for teens: - Avoid sharing personal details: Never share sensitive information like your full name, address, phone number, school name, or passwords with strangers online. - Be mindful of photos: Think carefully before posting pictures that could give away personal details, such as your location, school, or home. - Be cautious with location tags: Avoid enabling location tracking on social media and check if apps are sharing your location. - If you feel unsafe online, talk to a trusted adult or friend. It's important to get support. - Don't trust everyone: Just because someone seems friendly online doesn’t mean they are who they say they are. Don’t share personal information or agree to meet someone in person without the presence of a trusted adult. Have a happy and safe Christmas!

  • This Christmas, imagine how much good you can do in the life of just one girl, her family, and her entire community for generations to come. Your ongoing support will provide her with a new life of freedom! As a RescueOne monthly partner, you can rescue her from sexual slavery, restore her afterward, or prevent her from being sold in the first place. Your monthly gift can offer: · Safe haven in a restoration home · Vocational training for a new life of freedom or · Income-generating alternatives for families that might otherwise sell their girls -Impact for everyone! As families begin to see what a gift girls are, they shift their thinking toward God’s view of these image-bearers. https://lnkd.in/gpX5m2U3
