Back from #cmw2024 and here are some takeaways: 1. Content Marketing Institute has succeeded in creating an event for which content marketers fly in from all over the country (and the globe, actually) to go to sessions and learn more about B2B marketing from others' experiences. That's already impressive. It's a very unique social scene for conferences that are not the boutique-ey Exit Five or the massive HubSpot's Inbound style shows. 2. Sorry, Zoom and Teams: nothing beats face to face conversations: Isaac Gili, Michal Shkedi and Eli Bronner spoke to hundreds of marketers - validating again and again that video is a pain that still needs to be solved for most companies. Preferably 6 months ago. 3. People were great with being recorded for their own personal video - but maybe people have to be content marketers in the first place 😅 we had a video time capsule experience set up that was pretty popular. All in all, highly recommended show for content marketers! See you next year!
