Yesterday, our Moses Lake team came together to support the community this holiday season! We donated much-needed items to the Moses Lake Food Bank and Grant County Animal Outreach, helping both our neighbors in need and our furry friends. ❤️🐾 We're so grateful to be able to give back to the community in meaningful ways during this time of year. Thank you to everyone who contributed – it’s a true reminder of the impact we can make when we work together! #GivingBack #Sila #GrantCountyWa #MosesLake

We engineer materials to power our future.
About us
We are Sila—a next generation battery materials company dedicated to accelerating energy transformation for a more sustainable future. Our next-gen anode material is the first significant chemistry improvement to lithium-ion batteries to reach the market in 30 years. Our silicon anode material is a simple drop-in replacement to graphite and significantly boosts the energy density of lithium-ion batteries without compromising performance. Today, Sila science powers innovative consumer electronics. Tomorrow, it will fuel our EV future and the electrification of everything. We work directly with leading consumer electronics and automotive OEMs to help accelerate product roadmaps, and partners with battery manufacturers commercial cell production. Our partners include BMW, Daimler, and ATL. Sila Nano’s first products significantly increase the energy density of state-of-the-art lithium-ion batteries. Our materials are manufacturable economically at scale and are drop-in replacements to existing battery manufacturing processes.

This week was filled with connection, generosity, and community spirit for our ERGs and Bay Area Silazens. We kicked things off with a Cafecito hosted by our SiLatines ERG, where we came together over delicious pan dulce, coffee, and conversation. We wrapped up the week with a beautiful celebration of the season, gathering to support local families. Thanks to the generosity of our Silazens and friends, we raised nearly $7,000 in gifts for Women's Daytime Drop-In Center and Building Futures with Women and Children. Together, we delivered 283 bags full of books, toys, and essentials to help bring joy to those in need this holiday season. 🎁 A huge shoutout to our amazing Employee Resource Groups for leading this initiative: AfroSi, SiLatines, Spectrum, SWAGN (Sila Women and Gender Non-Conforming), and SAPIens (Sila Asian Pacific Islander-ens). And a special thank you to Nicholas Fritzinger-Pittman for rallying us all and making this possible! 👏 This week was a testament to the power of unity, compassion, and giving back. Here's to making the season bright for everyone. #SilaCares #CommunityGiving #HolidayJoy #SilaSilazens #ERGLove #GiveBack #SeasonOfGiving

Last weekend, our Moses Lake team was proud to volunteer at the 30th Annual Festival of Trees Gala hosted by the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Moses Lake. This cherished event is the organization’s biggest fundraiser, helping them build and repair homes for vulnerable families and provide essential resources to the community. We know how important volunteers are to making this event a success, and we’re grateful to have played a part in supporting such a meaningful cause. ✨ #CommunitySupport #HabitatForHumanity #FestivalOfTrees #GivingBack

Last week, we were humbled to join the Boys & Girls Clubs of The Columbia Basin and volunteer for Thanksgiving celebrations. More than 20 Silazens came together to play games with the kids and serve up delicious meals at two of our local schools. It was an incredible day of giving back to the #community, sharing good food, and spreading joy. Service is truly rewarding, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help and make a difference. #CommunityService #Thanksgiving #GivingBack #Sila #GrantCountyWa #MosesLake
