Our SimTech Young Professionals (YP) had a great time decorating our Tinsel Trail tree last Saturday! Tinsel Trail is a display of live Christmas trees in Downtown Huntsville's Big Spring Park. Joe is SimTech’s new Director of Strategic Growth. His primary role is to craft growth strategies and direct customer engagement in Business Development and Technical Engineering. Joe also helps support our Corporate staff in identifying new customers and markets for us to expand our business base and grow our company footprint. He enjoys the challenge of pursuing and capturing new business and developing key customer and company relationships.   Although new to SimTech, he says that he already enjoys operating in a small company environment where key decisions and plans are executed on a timely/effective basis.   Before SimTech, Joe graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is an avid Steelers fan. Joe loves dogs and is skilled in playing the piano!   We are proud to have Joe as a part of our team. Josh is a Principal Scientist working on one of our technical programs. He is the lead developer for several projects supporting a variety of customers from the U.S. Army to the U.S. Air Force, focusing on simulation development and tactical sensor integrations. Josh enjoys tackling a challenge whether it is his software or a colleague’s, he loves being able to find the problem, diagnose it and implement the fix for the issue. He also enjoys helping our SimTech interns in his lab navigate their early career journeys. Before SimTech, Josh pursued two Bachelor’s Degrees – a BS in Physics and a BS in Computer Science. He believes that many companies in the defense industry make an impact, but SimTech always brings a sense of professionalism and reliability to the projects we are a part of. Last Saturday, our SimTech Young Professionals group (YP) assisted Enable Madison County with their vegetable garden. Our crew helped Enable with end-of-season chores and harvesting vegetables for their local clients. Enable Madison County is a non-profit organization that provides services to the homebound of all ages, including fresh produce from their garden, in which clients can enjoy at their home without having to leave. We’d like to thank Enable Madison County for having our group as well as Shawn, Enable’s Garden Services Coordinator, for trusting us with the upkeep of the garden! 🫑 #simtech41
