  • Foundation Scholarship Spotlight on Zachary Pasquin from the SIOR Global Fall Event in Hollywood, Ca. Zach, from Stonington, Connecticut, is a University of Connecticut graduate whose journey into commercial real estate began unexpectedly during a finance class. Today, he’s thriving at Sentry Commercial and attending the SIOR Global Conference in Hollywood to take his career to the next level. Why SIOR Matters to Zachary: "This conference is packed with people who genuinely care about what they do and are excited for the future. The port tour at Long Beach was incredible, and I’ve already learned so much. It’s been an experience I’ll never forget." Zach knows that success in this industry isn’t just about hard work—it’s about the right mentorship. That’s where Mark Duclos, SIOR, CRE comes in. "Mark Duclos has been a great mentor. He was one of the initial people I met. Now that I'm working at Sentry Commercial, he's been a great mentor taking me on and really has taught me a lot in the past four months. " Zach’s Key Takeaway: The real estate world is a long game. Building relationships, finding the right mentor, and staying focused are essential. Zach’s goal? To become a trusted advisor who is respected in the industry and one day earn the prestigious SIOR designation. Zachary represents the future of commercial real estate—a future built on mentorship, passion, and purpose. We’re proud to see him thriving and inspired by his drive to succeed. Are you ready to make connections that shape your career? #SIORFoundation #SIORGlobal

  • We could not do what we do without our amazing members. Thank you! From Ted Konigsberg, SIOR's post: "The trustees in this photo flew out here at their own expense to spend a day together in an old-fashioned call center setting. Although donations are still coming in, it appears we are on track to raise $300,000 to educate, expand, and enhance both SIOR and the commercial real estate industry at large." Amazing! As Ted wrote, THANK YOU to ALL the SIOR Members who were so generous. We value you and appreciate you. #SIOR #SIORFoundation
