  • Skills Quest Women Chapter recently conducted its 7th session where we explored two of Allah's beautiful names in our Tadabbur session: Al-Salam (The Source of Peace) and Al-Mu’min (The Giver of Faith and Security). It was a soul-stirring experience, and we wanted to share some reflections from this enlightening session. 🌟 ✨ 𝐀𝐥-𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦 – 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 In a world often filled with chaos, we sometimes forget that real peace comes only from Allah, Al-Salam. As we reflected, we realized how we can seek inner tranquillity by turning to Him, especially during our most turbulent times. By connecting to Al-Salam, we remind ourselves that true peace lies in submission to His will and in placing our trust in Him. 💭 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: Ask yourself, how do you find peace when things seem out of control? How can remembering Al-Salam shift your perspective toward a more serene life, grounded in faith? ✨ 𝐀𝐥-𝐌𝐮’𝐦𝐢𝐧 – 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 Al-Mu’min reminds us that not only is Allah the source of our faith, but He is also the one who grants us security through that faith. In times of uncertainty and fear, reflecting on this name can help us feel anchored. True belief and trust in Allah protect us from the anxiety that uncertainty can bring. His divine protection envelops us, reassuring us that we are safe under His care. 💭 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: How often do we remind ourselves that our security lies not in material things, but in the strength of our faith in Al-Mu’min? 🌱 This session has helped us cultivate a deeper awareness of how these divine attributes can transform our outlook on life. As we continue this journey of learning, let’s seek not just knowledge, but connection—connecting our hearts to the One who is the ultimate source of peace and security. #SkillsQuestWomenChapter #Tadabbur #AsmaUlHusna #AlSalam #AlMumin #Faith #Peace #InnerStrength #SpiritualGrowth

  • The Skills Quest Women Chapter successfully hosted its 6th session on Time Management—a skill essential for balancing today’s fast-paced life. 🕒 The session began with a warm welcome, setting a positive tone and encouraging participants to actively engage. 🙌 The host introduced the key topics of the session and fostered an inclusive and interactive environment. The main goal was to help participants understand the true essence of time management—not just squeezing more into our days but learning to prioritize effectively and manage time with focus and consistency. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 Eisenhower Matrix for prioritizing tasks 📝 Pomodoro technique to boost productivity 🍅 80/20 Rule to focus on the most impactful activities 🎯 Other helpful methods like the Focus Funnel and 5-Second Rule The discussion was enriched by a video on the Philosophy of Time, which challenged the notion of time as a commodity. It highlighted how societal pressures, such as the saying “time is money,” often lead to guilt when we take time for ourselves or our loved ones. The speaker emphasized that time is priceless—it should be valued and used for what truly matters in life. Participants engaged in activities that encouraged them to reflect on how they allocate time across different areas of their life. They were asked to dedicate specific hours to: Professional commitments 🧑💼 Personal well-being 🧘♀️ Family and friends 👨👩👧👦 This led to a Daily Blueprint exercise, helping them align their ideal routine with a realistic one while setting boundaries and achievable goals. Attendees were tasked with setting specific weekly goals for personal and professional growth. Each participant teamed up with a Quest Partner, someone they hadn’t worked with before, to build accountability and ensure progress throughout the week. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, allowing members to clarify doubts and exchange insights. We also gathered valuable feedback to continue improving our sessions. 📋 A big thank you to everyone who made this session so enriching! 🌸 Let’s continue this journey toward holistic growth and better time management. #TimeManagement #SkillsQuestWomen #WorkLifeBalance #SQWC #GrowthJourney #HolisticDevelopment #WomenInLeadership

  • Skills Quest Women Chapter organized its fifth session on “Goal Setting” where Asadullah Khan shared some valuable insights. Here’s a summary of what was discussed, so you can keep these crucial points in mind for effective goal setting! He started by suggesting that you take hiking as an example (or any activity you enjoy) to understand the process of setting goals. Here’s how he laid it out: First, you need to 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 🍂. Take a moment to settle down before you start looking for available hiking spots. Next, you should 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵 🏞. Choose only the spots that are worth your time, making sure they align with your current knowledge and strength. Remember, your interests matter too—if you’re not excited about a spot, feel free to leave it off your list! After that, it’s essential to 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 ⛰. Pick a hiking spot that’s a level up from your previous experiences—something that’s challenging, but still achievable. By following these steps, you’ll arrive at one realistic hiking goal! Then, he posed an important question:   𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑲-2 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍 5?🙂 You’d likely fail, right? This highlights the danger of setting goals that are unrealistic and beyond your capability. You’ve probably been in situations where you set lofty goals, lost motivation halfway, and felt hopeless. Often, the root of the issue lies in unrealistic goals that ignore your strengths and weaknesses. Sir Asadullah talked on “𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝑺𝒆𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑮𝒐𝒂𝒍𝒔?” and emphasized the importance of knowing your strengths and weaknesses 🧩. If you’re unsure, take the time to figure this out for your future self. He also advised you to 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 🎯 wisely. Set goals based on your current knowledge and skill level. For instance, if your goal is to write newspaper articles but you have no idea where to start, setting a goal to write 20 articles in a year is unrealistic. Instead, he recommended that you start by 𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸𝘭𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵. Once you feel more confident, you can move on to learning about paragraph writing and summarizing. Gradually, you’ll work your way up to writing articles and research papers! Finally, he reminded you to 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭𝘴 ✨ that genuinely help you grow. Asadullah Khan concluded by outlining the importance of setting goals: 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 🔄: Goals help keep you focused. 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 😌: Realistic goals boost your chances of success. 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 🔮: By setting achievable goals today, you ensure your future self won’t struggle. It’s time to set realistic goals. Prioritize steady growth and avoid the pitfalls of unrealistic expectations. Aim for progress, not perfection! #GoalSetting #SkillsQuest #WomenEmpowerment #RealisticGoal #PersonalGrowth

  • Skills Quest Women Chapter organized it's fourth session on much needed topic “Self Confidence". Our amazing, beloved and outstanding speaker Gul Aqsa Naz graced the session with her words and presence.🌺 We'll dive you into the events of session in detail, that will surely pop and urge in your heart to be a part of SQWC.🤝 🍄 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬: 💟 Self confidence is important so that you'll not suffocate yourself. If you aren't confident enough, how can you speak your mind!? Is there an other way? No. Not at all. Then what will you do? You'll swallow your own words and that's alarming. 🚨 💟 Lack of self confidence leads to insecurities and self doubt. In this case, a person can find himself in the darkness. ( You are aware of the disappointment phase, Yes! Exactly that dark phase). 👉 We got to know that why self confidence is like an air for us. Right! But 🤔 📜 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞? Knowing your worth is your "Self Confidence". When you get to know that how capable and talented you are, you feel less stressed and far more motivated and confident. You leave self doubt and your insecurities behind. 🍄 𝐖𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: You can have unshakeable confidence through two major means: ✨Your skills. ( If this is your key to confidence, don't you ever stop learning. Your growth and confidence go hand in hand.) ✨Positive Self Talk. ( If you are satisfied with your present skills, then positive self talk is all you need.) & 👉🏻 Here's an open secret for you all as well. “PLEASE DON'T COMPARE YOURSELF WITH ANY PERSON." You'll feel demotivated. This will lead to stress, anxiety or depression. Ultimately, you'll unlock the demons of self doubt. They will crush your soul and your self-esteem. At the end, you'll be there standing on the broken shattered pieces of yourself. 🙂 🍄𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: Audience was engaged into various "self-confidence boosting games". Here's the list of some activities that you can do in your me time. 💌Write and schedule an email to your future self. Write your hopes, admiration and yeah, don't forget to appreciate your future self. And you can ask yourself that how are you feeling nowadays ? Maybe you need you to hear yourself on that specific day. (Your birthday, graduation ceremony day or any of your special day) 💌Write and think deep about your " I am statement... ", positive affirmation. 💌Write and think about your personal motto or mantra. If you don't have any, sit and make one. 💌Set your goals for next 10 year. It will help in keeping you on track. We hope these takeaways will benefit you and you'll be successful in possessing an unshakable self confidence.🤗 #skillsquest #skillsquestwomenchapter #selfconfidnece #womenforce #skills #confidence #womenchapter

  • Skills Quest's Women Chapter recently held its third session on “Self-Awareness,” expertly hosted by Gul Aqsa Naz and Minal Fatima. The session was a rich buffet of insights and practical tips for everyday life. 🍱 Here are some key insights from the discussion, just for you✨✨✨: 🌻 Setting boundaries is for your own self. 🌻 Only healthy people respect others' boundaries. 🌻 Setting our boundaries results in healthy relations. 🌻 You need to communicate your boundaries if you want others to respect them. 🌻 The first person who must follow and respect your boundaries is YOU. If you aren't going to do so, no one will respect them either. 🌻 Having boundaries is not equal to being rude, being self-centered, or being proud. It means you respect yourself and you know your worth. 🌻 Let people know that you're not going to tolerate them if they continue to cross your boundaries. Some tips and tricks to know yourself, to keep yourself sane and to keep your direction under check were also discussed. Here we go: 🌸 Journal Writing (either in soft form or else) should be a part of your everyday routine. Why? For gratitude and self-reflection. Write whatever you feel before you hit the sack. A plus point 😌: Journal writing will help you in regulating your emotions. 🌸 Seeking “why” behind your reactions will help you to know yourself and in regulating your emotions. Also, you will learn how you can control your behaviors in certain situations that trigger you. 🌸 Seek feedback and work on your weak points. Remember! Not every feedback is worth your attention. You need to be cautious while asking for feedback. 🌸 Embrace vulnerability. It will help you grow. 🌸 Reflect on your past. Learn from your mistakes. 🌸 You can't overcome your fears and flaws in a single day or in a single attempt. 🌸 Be patient and give yourself a margin, a margin for being a human. 🌸 Challenge assumptions. 🌸 Accept who you are but don't be rigid. If you've some bad habit etc., no problem! Why? Because you are a human. Accept your mistake and try to improve yourself. Moreover, an amazing idea was shared with the audience. 👥 Guess what!? 💭 Okay we'll let you know. 😁 It was about " Personality tests". 👩🎓 Because it helps us to know why we do certain things in a certain way. Nothing is fixed but we can understand ourselves to a great extent. (And we have a secret for you that is we all can overcome our weaknesses with practice and by being conscious.) 😎 We hope that you got benefit from the key points, tips and tricks that we have shared with you. 😋 If yes, then why not to share it with your loved ones? ❤😉 We’ll probably be sharing more activities from our sessions here. 🙊 If you’d like to join our Women Chapter or learn more, feel free to reach out via LinkedIn. 💌 #SkillsQuest #WomenChapter #SelfAwareness #PersonalGrowth #BoundarySetting #EmotionalWellbeing #JournalWriting #Feedback
