Just wrapped up 4 weeks of problem-solving with some of the most inspiring leaders in K-12 🔥 Here's what I learned: → Real change happens when you get your hands dirty → Root causes aren't found in a conference room → Complex problems need brave leadership These leaders aren't just sitting behind their desks theorizing. They're out there: ✅ Taking bold action ✅ Making tough calls ✅ Actually solving problems ✅ Putting students first 7 problem-solving lessons from this month: 1. Get close to the problem: ↳ Real solutions come from Gemba, not boardrooms. ↳ Talk to people actually experiencing the challenges. 2. Embrace the mess: ↳ Complex problems require data. ↳ Stay curious and dig deeper. 3. Listen more than you speak: ↳ The best answers often come from those closest to the issue. ↳ Create space for all voices. 4. Test small, learn fast: ↳ Perfect solutions don't exist. ↳ Start small, gather feedback, and adjust. 5. Build coalitions: ↳ Bring stakeholders along the journey. ↳ Success depends on buy-in at every level. 6. Stay human-centered: ↳ Remember who you're solving for. ↳ Impact on people matters more than perfect processes. 7. Keep showing up: ↳ Real change takes time and persistence. ↳ Stay committed to making things better. To all the education leaders out there: Your dedication to solving tough challenges matters. You're making a difference, one countermeasure at a time. Proud to work alongside such committed problem solvers. Even as we tackle some tough issues, like: 1. If you had to eat the same food forever, what would you choose? 🧀 2. When's the best day to grab your Costco Thanksgiving haul? 😉 #SkillSuccess #CMS #ProblemSolving #NotConferenceRoomProbelmSolvers #TeamQueso #TeamBroccoli #K12Leadership #EducationLeadership ♻️ Repost to inspire some problem-solving.
