Carter’s volunteers made a significant impact at the LEAD Center For Youth in celebration and commemoration of Juneteenth! As a part of a rotational program, volunteers competed in batting skills with the talented youth of LEAD Center for Youth, encouraged their creativity by helping them design t-shirts like those at Carter’s, and taught them about the importance of Juneteenth and the key leaders and activists behind it. A special shoutout goes to our dedicated ambassadors, Jeffrey and Johncia, and to every one of our volunteers for stepping up to the plate with such enthusiasm! Your efforts have truly made a difference. #LifeatCarters

On June 19, 1865, freedom finally arrived in the state of Texas. Union troops emancipated over 250,000 enslaved people on “Juneteenth” (short for June Nineteenth) – a date now celebrated nationwide as the end of slavery in the United States. On this day, families come together to celebrate and honor their ancestors with parades, educational events, prayer services and family cookouts. Carter’s is proud to observe Juneteenth as a U.S. Company holiday for all U.S. regular full-time employees. #lifeatcarters

In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Carter's building marquee will proudly be lit up red, white, and blue through June 9. On June 6th, 1944, Allied forces from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, and other nations stormed the beaches of Normandy, marking the beginning of the end of World War II. Their bravery and sacrifice changed the course of history by securing freedom and democracy for generations to come. As we honor the heroes who fought for their countries, let us never forget their courage and resilience. At Carter's, we pay tribute to their legacy and remain committed to supporting military families around the world. #lifeatcarters

🌈Celebrating Pride Month 🌈   June is Pride Month, dedicated to celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQIA+) communities worldwide. Pride Month began after the Stonewall riots, a series of gay liberation protests in 1969, and has since spread all over the world. Campaigns and rallies aim to promote and preserve the history and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community.   In celebration of Pride Month, our corporate headquarters building marquee, in Atlanta, GA, will be lit up in rainbow colors from June 1 – 4. #LifeatCarters

As we continue to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Month, we are proud to highlight employee volunteers who helped celebrate the rich heritage in our community! Earlier this month, volunteers read culturally representative books donated by Carter’s to children supported by Quality Care for Children and engaged them in coloring AAPI flags and leader portraits. Special thanks to ambassadors Allen and Ben, and all our amazing volunteers! #lifeatcarters
