Members have reported increased fraudulent activity recently. Fraudsters work very hard to find victims during the Holidays when people are being the most generous. Please be extra cautious and keep in mind these few important facts: Remember: ✅ Sky FCU does send card fraud alerts but will never text you with a link to click on or with one demanding immediate payment or to avoid account closure. ✅ Sky FCU will never request payment via pre-paid cards. This tactic is never used by a legitimate company - huge red flag! ✅ NEVER give out your online/mobile banking credentials to anyone!! Fraudsters will use this information to steal from you! ✅ Make sure you are signed up for Account ALERTS to be notified when someone changes your email, address, or phone number. Fraudster will do this once they have gained access to your account to send/receive one-time PIN or other information and use it to get past any added security measures. ✅ Sky FCU will not close your account without attempting contact multiple times. Be aware that fraudsters are constantly improving their tactics, which can include robocalling, fraudulent text messages and emails. They often spoof local numbers to entice members to answer their calls and texts. Whatever the tactic, most fraud implies a sense of urgency, demanding immediate payment to avoid disruptions of services, reporting to Chexsystems, or account closure. If you are contacted by a fraudster posing as Sky FCU or have accidentally clicked on something you think may be fraudulent, you can report it via email to memberservices@skyfcu.org or by calling us.

Sky Federal Credit Union was chartered in December of 1935 as the Northern Pacific Railroad Employees Federal Credit Union. We would like to give a huge thank you to the businesses that donated food, time, and or/equipment to help make today a success! Big Al’s Bakery, Big Timber Bakery, and The Coffee Stop donated cookies. Crazy Peak Boutique donated fruit cups. Pioneer Meats gave us the hamburger and hot dogs at cost and let us use their grill. Smoothies and Cream made smoothies for the kids. And not individually listed, all of our parents and community members who came to help set up, work the event and chaperone the younger kids.
