Eventful two weeks for the OpsLab team! Following an amazing trip to ARC WEPTAC in Tucson, AZ to highlight OpLab’s support to the Air National Guard, where the team had the opportunity to brief congressional staffers such as Erin Scanlon from the office of Congressman Sam Graves, we were thrilled to host staff from Senator Joni Ernst’s office just this past week at our HQ in Austin’s Capital Factory. This onsite visit was an opportunity to discuss the need for a modern-day solution to flight and range planning that alleviates operator’s cognitive load so they can focus on the mission, not the minutia. We’re grateful for the continued opportunities to showcase this capability to Congress. At OpsLab, we believe we’re not only providing a technical solution, but a human solution.

Lieutenant General, US Air Force, Retired

In August, I joined OpsLab, a key provider of automated squadron scheduling software to the U.S. military, to lead their international strategy. A lot of folks have asked me why. The reason is simple: As I begin my private sector career, I want to bring our most effective, innovative, interoperable solutions to our NATO Allies and partners. OpsLab has a winning culture combined with amazing technical skill, and I see an opportunity to address a critical need across NATO air forces. We have the chance to significantly reduce the administrative burden on our flight crews, giving them back the time they need to focus on what really matters - maintaining the highest levels of operational readiness and effectiveness. Here’s exactly how OpsLab does that: https://lnkd.in/epzbFCX9

Moving the mission forward! OpsLab was honored to host nearly a dozen United States Air Force Airmen from the 25th Attack Group out of Shaw Air Force Base for a strategy session about optimizing the flight operations of the General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper. The United States Department of Defense has made clear the importance of autonomous systems, and the MQ-9 is one of the most important tools in today's American military arsenal. Given the MQ-9’s significant loiter time, wide-range sensors, multi-mode communications suite, and precision weapons, it provides a unique capability to perform strike, coordination, and reconnaissance against high-value, fleeting, and time-sensitive targets. But the MQ-9 is an exquisite system, and flying them safely and effectively requires significant operational output. Often times, flight schedulers spend hours on tasks that OpsLab’s software can perform in minutes. This all-day working session allowed OpsLab and the 25 ATK to come together as one team to address these challenges and optimize our engagement to increase operational readiness. #mq9 #uav #readiness #operationalreadiness #softwaredefineddefense #defensetech

Hello, Washinton DC! 🏛️ We’re buzzing after Arun Nair and Andrew Thompson’s trip to our nation’s capital to meet with lawmakers and senior military officials. As our company evolves and our footprint grows, we want to make sure the right lawmakers are familiar with the incredible amounts of time our operators waste on outdated flight management technology. We were so excited to hear their enthusiasm about OpsLab: the only solution providing automated flight management solutions at scale. We also attended the Air & Space Forces Association Air Space Cyber Conference, where we met with senior leaders and General Officers from the United States Air Force and US Navy. With over 2,500 OpsLab end users at 60 different squadrons, we enjoyed discussing how our tools can continue to enhance operational readiness and improve the wellbeing of our pilots and schedulers. Special thanks to our partners at BlueWing Impact and Downing Street Strategies for helping make our trip so successful! Andy Oare Jessica Carroll

Today, OpsLab announced a new contract to support the Airmen at Columbus Air Force Base (AFB). This contract marks OpsLab’s ninth SBIR Phase III from the U.S Air Force, and third to specifically focus on flying training squadrons. With products in active deployment at 60 different flying squadrons, we're thrilled to continue enhancing operational readiness for our warfighters. “There’s a strong demand for fully-automated flying operations software from our training community, and the fact that 50th Flying Squadron is now the third training component to implement SkySchedule is proof the software is already working,” said Gen. (R) Stephen “Seve” Wilson, former Vice Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force and OpsLab advisor. Read more >> https://lnkd.in/dp8xK_sM

Big news! We’ve received a grant from NSIN - National Security Innovation Network to schedule air ranges for pilot training. "While the scheduling of flying squadrons is still our core competency, our United States Air Force customers are inspiring us to take operations research (OR)-driven automation out of the scheduling room and apply it further down range. By managing the scheduling of air ranges, we'll be one step closer to managing end-to-end flying operations. One step closer to enhancing operational readiness, and to preparing our warfighters to win on tomorrow's battlefield.” ~Arun Nair Read more —> https://lnkd.in/eBHQhQMz
