Technology is continuously transforming maritime security, introducing advanced tools that improve situational awareness and threat detection, anticipating broader implementation of systems such as: 🔹 Thermal and Night Vision Cameras 🔹 Side Scan Sonar 🔹 AI-Driven Analytics These innovations enable the early detection of risks, leading to quicker responses and enhanced security outcomes. However, unmanned technologies' increasing availability and rapid evolution present new challenges, particularly beneath the surface. Malicious actors are gaining easier access to autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and remotely operated vehicles (ROVs).
