On November 20 at the charming Masia Freixa building in #Terrassa our Spanish partner Xatic Xarxa de Turisme Industrial de Catalunya will host “Challenges and Opportunities of Industrial Tourism in #Catalonia.” public workshop to highlight successful case studies from the #industrialdesign sector featuring insights from #SMITourproject partners about regional resources.🏭 ℹ️ The event will also include a co-creation session bringing together project partners and invited experts, including representatives from public administrations, industries, cultural institutions, local communities, and other significant stakeholders. ✅ Participants will collaborate to generate proposals on four key themes: integrating advanced technologies in industrial heritage management, improving online promotion strategies, balancing heritage conservation with innovation, and adapting to new tourism trends and technological changes. 📣Congratulations ‼️ “Secrets of Submerged Villages” has earned 2nd place at the European Cultural Tourism Network (ECTN) Awards 2024 in the category for Advances in Digitalization and the Digital Transition in Smart and Sustainable Cultural Tourism.
