Our 2024 Helping Hands #HolidayBazaar was a success thanks to all of you! Massive thanks to everyone who attended and made the event so special. 🙌 We were thrilled to have 47 vendors showcasing their fantastic products. This year, we introduced an employee-run table where #TeamPUD Customer Service Reps collaborated to sell handmade items, with all profits going to Helping Hands. The grand total raised from all vendor fees and sales was $4,038.00! As funds come in, they go out quickly to income-qualified senior citizens. More than half of what was raised has already been granted to help local seniors.

About us
Snohomish County PUD began operating as an electric utility on September 1, 1949, providing public power to Snohomish County and Camano Island. (We actually began as a water utility on January 17, 1946, but we don’t provide water service to the entire county.) Snohomish County PUD is a municipal corporation of the state of Washington, formed by a majority vote of the people for the purpose of providing electric and/or water utility service. There are 27 other PUDs in Washington, but we are the largest. We are the 12th largest public utility in the U.S. and the second largest in Washington state, serving the 875,000 citizens of Snohomish County and Camano Island and the businesses that keep them thriving. The PUD’s service area consists of 2,200 square miles, including all of Snohomish County and Camano Island. The utility maintains more than 6,300 miles of distribution line.

What a week! As we wrap up the remaining outages today, we took a moment to reflect on the #Bombcyclone's impact on our service area. The stat we're most proud of is the lack of significant safety issues. This speaks to the professionalism and dedication of every crew who worked this storm with us. #PublicPower #MutualAid #StormResponse
