One of December’s topics of discussion is Self-Discipline. At Soccer in the Streets, we are dedicated to teaching young athletes that true success comes from: - Consistent effort - Pushing through challenges - Setting and pursuing meaningful goals - Maintaining a positive attitude, even when things get tough Self-discipline teaches our players that greatness isn't about just winning, but about showing up every single day, giving your best, and continuously improving. #SoccerInTheStreets #TeachingMoments #YouthSoccer

Empowering Our Communities Through Soccer: Meet Ty Moore When sports seem out of reach, Soccer in the Streets steps up. Ty Moore, a Kensington StationSoccer parent, shared firsthand how transformative our free soccer programs can be. “If it wasn’t for Soccer in the Streets, my son wouldn’t have had the chance to play. Programs like these—free for the community—truly support what we’re trying to do by getting our kids into league sports.” Our mission is simple: to break down financial barriers and give every child the opportunity to play, learn, and grow through soccer. Together, we can continue to build a future where every kid has the chance to thrive. #Community #Kensington #YouthSoccer #SoccerForAll #BreakingBarriers

Opened in October 2023 at the East Lake MARTA Station, this transformative project marks the sixth StationSoccer location, continuing the vision of Soccer in the Streets made possible by so many incredible partners. By repurposing underutilized transit space, the field has been reimagined as a vibrant community hub, offering accessible soccer programming for local youth. This StationSoccer location serves not only the East Lake community but also students from the Global Village Project, the Villages of East Lake, and the Decatur Housing Authority, fostering inclusivity and connection through the beautiful game. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who contributed to making this field a reality. We’re thrilled to continue expanding our StationSoccer network across metro Atlanta, bringing more opportunities and equitable access to communities throughout the region.
