Such a travesty. Afraid for our colleagues and fellow activists in Goma. It's a university town full of beautiful, intelligent young people. Goma is on the edge of the Congo Basin - one of two regions most vital to the globe's air supply. Many students were part of a movement to save it from oil drilling. This fight is all about control over selling what is under the earth. It is disgraceful that corporate supply chains in the U.S. and Europe couldn't care less about the Black lives and humanity lost over this extraction. Shame on bp, TotalEnergies - two of the most implicated corporations getting rich over this disgrace. #HumanRights #ClimateAction

Big congrats to Family Frontiers, organizing for the equal rights of mothers and children to citizenship. Recently the Malaysian Lower House and Upper House unanimously passed the constitutional amendment granting Malaysian women the automatic right to confer citizenship to their overseas-born children.
