For almost 35 years, the Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) has proudly served as the premier international organization of professionals and students who dedicate their work towards advancing the science and practice of conserving Earth’s biological diversity. SCB's membership comprises a wide range of people interested in the conservation and study of biological diversity, including resource managers, educators, government and private conservation workers, and students, who make up nearly 4,000 members worldwide. With six Regions, close to 40 local Chapters, and seven topical Working Groups, SCB members enjoy unparalleled opportunities to further their professional or organizational goals, connect with leaders in the conservation community, and engage in impactful efforts and activities.
