SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) is a nonprofit organization serving and advancing Hispanics in STEM. With more than 13,000 student and professional members, SHPE’s mission is to change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development. To accomplish this, SHPE provides a variety of programming, services, resources, and events, including hosting the largest Hispanic STEM convention in the nation.

VOTING ELIGIBILITY: Each professional and graduate student member in good standing whose dues are received by February 15 is entitled to one vote in the leadership elections taking place that calendar year. The member’s membership category as defined on February 15 will determine which ballot will be received. Members with memberships expiring after February 15 are eligible to receive a ballot, with a 90-day grace period for voting, concluding on May 15. CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY: Candidates facing membership expiration after February 15 are eligible for ballot inclusion, provided they renew within a 30-day grace period for membership renewal, concluding on March 15.
