🚀Smart Planter Takes the Stage: Soften Gravity at Beyond Expo in Macau🚀 🌟We are proud to announce that our startup team had the incredible opportunity to pitch at the prestigious BEYOND Expo 2024 in Macau on May 23rd and 24th, and received a total investment of 6 tokens (vote as support) from 6 different venture capital firms! 🌟Our team is committed to developing sustainable solutions, and on the first day of the expo, our team member Julia Davis delivered a compelling five-minute pitch about our flagship product, 🪴 JOI - The Next Generation Companion. Our startup idea resonated strongly with the investors, earning us funding from DAYONE, TOPVIEW INNOVATION, STONY CREEK CAPITAL, SIMIC CAPITAL, CDH Investment, and FUNWAY CAPITAL. This fantastic result demonstrates that our concept has real potential in the market！！！ 🌟Buoyed by this initial success, our team was invited back to present again on May 24th in front of the Beyond Expo audience. 🚀 SoftenGravity was recently honored to participate in the “健康生活在甲子 Campus Open Day and Science Carnival” at Po Leung Kuk Ho Yuk Ching(1984) College on April 20th! 🎉 The exhibition would like to promote Al, healthcare, innovation, and collaborations to secondary school students. We were nominated by HKBU Department of Computer Science to represent the university at this event. Special thanks to Professor Byron Choi for inviting us, and the Division of Transdisciplinary Undergraduate Programmes helping us set up a wonderful booth to showcase our product - JOI to the students. At our booth, we had the privilege to interact with students, parents, and teachers to introduce them to our product. After trying it out, we could see the surprise on their faces as they experienced the features of JOI firsthand and said that they never thought that plants could really talk one day. We also collected valuable feedback which will play a key role in further improving our products to better meet user needs. We were thrilled to learn from Principal Lam how dedicated the school is determined to use AI and other cutting edge technologies to protect students’ mental health. Happy to see we share the same values with these best teachers and educators in Hong Kong. Overall, the “健康生活在甲子 Campus Open Day and Science Carnival” was another step forward for SoftenGravity. We are encouraged by the reception of our technology and appreciate the opportunity to contribute to STEAM education and student well-being. The SoftenGravity team embarked on an entrepreneurial journey at Foshan Cyberport from January 19 to 21. 🥳Guided by mentors, we interacted with students, with the aim of forging partnerships with more entrepreneurs. 🤩CEO Jason and member Adelina actively networked, introducing our products to mentors and students. Following their networking efforts, we welcomed two members from Shenzhen University, optimizing our team structure and advancing our mainland China expansion.👊 Upon submitting our Cyberport Creative Micro Fund application, we successfully passed the preliminary review. Subsequently, on March 8 we entered the final round of pitching at Hong Kong Cyberport. CEO Jason showcased our product's charm, emphasizing JOI's unique ability to express plant ideas. The judges were impressed by JOI's emotional expression features. 🤗After the final pitching, our Hong Kong and Shenzhen teams convened at HKBU, eagerly anticipating SoftenGravity's future in mainland China! 🤝 In early March, we secured HK$100,000 support from the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund, bolstering our confidence and market prospects. Through the Cyberport Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Program, we gained vital support from the Cyberport Creative Micro Fund, marking a pivotal step in investment attraction, product enhancement, and market expansion.
