It has been a truly collaborative effort, with significant contributions from key organizations such as Centro Nacional de Energías Renovables - National Renewable Energy Centre, University of Seville, Doosan Škoda Power, Fraunhofer IKTS, and Aalborg CSP A/S. We are thrilled to contribute to this groundbreaking project by designing the turboexpanders using AxSTREAM. By leveraging AI-driven multistage axial compressor performance predictions, we’re helping reduce development time and cost, all while advancing NASA’s goals for ultra-efficient subsonic transports. The AI model is designed to predict performance with remarkable accuracy across the entire operating range, even with variable guide vanes, ultimately driving improvements in power density and fuel efficiency.
