The more you learn about calculating EBITDA and the accounting practices behind it, you might find that your company is more profitable than you realized. Capturing Success with Software Equity Group This week, I worked with Software Equity Group (SEG), a leader in software M&A, helping B2B software and SaaS companies scale through strategic acquisitions and private equity investments. For this project, SEG wanted a Katie Couric-style interview—a polished, cinematic sit-down conversation with dynamic lighting, a three-camera setup, and crisp audio. We filmed in Dallas, featuring entrepreneurs who built and sold businesses for $100 million + with SEG’s guidance. 🎥 Production Highlights - Multi-camera setup for an engaging presentation - Carefully crafted lighting to enhance storytelling - Premium sound capture for clarity and presence - Shot on Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6K for high-quality content What made this project special? Getting to interview entrepreneurs who built their companies from the ground up. SEG’s meticulous preparation made each conversation insightful and impactful. Need a media team to tell your story? 🚀 Companies like SEG looking to showcase success and attract clients 📢 PR teams seeking a collaborative media partner 🎙️ Executives needing an experienced interviewer for compelling conversations Let’s talk! Meld & Motion is here to create content that makes an impact.

Tiffany’s story is a testament to the kind of leadership that drives real impact. The best mentors, like Elizabeth Dukes, don’t just teach... they challenge, empower, and create space for growth. That’s exactly why SEG launched the Female Trailblazers of SaaS campaign. Over the years, we’ve been honored to highlight founders and CEOs who are redefining leadership in software, just like Elizabeth did for Tiffany. We know there are more stories to share. If you know a female SaaS founder or CEO making an impact, we’d love to feature them.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in my career is the power of failing fast—not failure for failure’s sake but failure as a stepping stone to growth. I owe a lot of that lesson to Elizabeth Dukes, co-founder of iOffice and my former boss. Elizabeth didn’t just allow me to experiment—she expected it. She gave me room to test ideas, take risks, and learn quickly from what didn’t work. I remember launching a campaign that completely flopped. Instead of focusing on the failure, Elizabeth asked, “What did we learn? How do we pivot?” That mindset transformed the way I approach marketing and leadership today. Because of her, I’m a better marketer, a better leader, and a better mentor to my own team. I learned that progress doesn’t come from waiting for the ‘perfect’ strategy—it comes from execution, iteration, and continuous learning. As we approach International Women’s Day, I want to recognize Elizabeth and the many women leaders who lift others up by creating environments where innovation thrives. At SEG, we’ve been honored to highlight incredible female SaaS founders and CEOs over the past three years. This year, we’re looking for more inspiring women to feature. Know a female SaaS founder or CEO making an impact? Drop their name in the comments or fill out the submission—I’d love to share their story. https://lnkd.in/g-hBe7NX #InternationalWomensDay #Leadership #WomenInSaaS #Marketing #FailFast #Mentorship

Software Founders: If you’re considering an exit, growth alone won’t get you the best deal. Today’s software buyers are looking for predictability, efficiency, and strong retention—and understanding what drives their decisions can make all the difference in your valuation and outcome. SEG Principal Diamond Innabi is sitting down with three private equity leaders from Bregal Sagemount, GreyLion, and Resurgens Technology Partners—firms that are actively acquiring software companies—to get their real-world insights on what makes a business stand out in today’s market. In the webinar, Expert Private Equity Perspectives on the 2025 Software M&A Market, they’ll share what they’re looking for, how they evaluate opportunities, and what separates the companies that get top valuations from the rest. 📅 February 25th at 10am PT | 1pm ET Register here: https://lnkd.in/eesXTSNV
