We are thrilled to see Origin Energy-foundation supporting Spark Engineering in both their Melbourne and Brisbane camps this year! These camps provided an opportunity for students from diverse backgrounds to explore the world of engineering by assembling StudentBuddy solar solutions. The students left the camps full of enthusiasm and newfound knowledge—ready to tackle challenges and build a brighter future. The feedback from Origin volunteers has been phenomenal, as they brought their expertise and passion to each session, empowering the students to witness how STEM careers can create social and environmental impact. What a great way to spend Friday morning with 52 year three students at Boronia Park Public School learning about renewable energy, solar power and energy poverty. Using our Salesforce volunteering hours, Louise Rizk and I had the opportunity to run a SolarBuddy STEM education program with over 50 lights built for kids living one #energypoverty.
