About us

Don't fight the algorithm. Beat it! Sooma AI got started with a single mission: reduce unnecessary hours spent watching YouTube. But of course, we can’t just turn it off! Much of the content on YouTube is very informative and educational, and many of the world’s best informative creators only deliver in video format. We've solved this two-fold problem with the launch of Sooma AI. Reading is a much faster form of content consumption and retention for most people. By transforming video content into readable articles, you can stay up-to-date with your favorite YouTube creators at just a fraction of the time watching them on TV. We know, Sooma AI doesn’t replace everything. You won’t get the same thrill of watching Mr. Beast’s real life Squid Game transformed into an article. But keep up with the latest TED Talks, health news, car reviews, tech updates, podcasts, and much more with the help of Sooma AI.

  • Dr. Berg discusses vitamin D deficiency, its risks, and proper supplementation. He explains vitamin D resistance, the inadequacy of current RDA, and the benefits of higher doses for autoimmune conditions. The video covers dosage recommendations and safety considerations. 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 For years, I struggled with low vitamin D levels, which put me at risk for various health problems, including autoimmune diseases and cancer. My blood test from 11 years ago showed a vitamin D level of just 21.1, which is dangerously low. At that time, I experienced significant inflammation in my back, neck, and joints, not realizing it was due to vitamin D deficiency. It's crucial to understand that the vitamin D measured in your blood is inactive. Just because your blood levels appear normal doesn't mean your cells are getting enough active vitamin D. This is where vitamin D resistance comes into play. Think of it as needing extra force to push vitamin D into the receptors in your cells. Several factors can contribute to vitamin D resistance: Genetic issuesLyme disease and certain infectionsDeficiencies in magnesium, zinc, or vitamin K2High cortisol levelsDarker skin colorHealth conditions like diabetes or obesityThe current Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for vitamin D is woefully inadequate. The Institute of Medicine recommends just 600 IU daily, but research suggests we actually need about 8,895 IU per day. This discrepancy puts many people at risk for vitamin D deficiency and its associated health problems. Enjoying this article? • NASA's SLS rocket faces potential cancellation due to high costs, delays, and inefficiency. Alternative plans using SpaceX and ULA rockets are being considered for the Artemis moon mission. The program's future is uncertain with potential changes in US administration. 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, once hailed as the future of American space exploration, is now facing a potential demise. Recent leaked information suggests that even within NASA, there's a growing belief that the SLS might be a lost cause. This doesn't necessarily mean the end of the Artemis moon landing program, but it does indicate that a significant change in plans may be on the horizon. The revelation about NASA's internal struggles comes from Eric Berger, a respected space journalist known for his credible sources within the industry. According to Berger, there's a 50/50 chance that the entire SLS program could be cancelled - not just future iterations, but the entire project. Several factors are working against the SLS and its associated infrastructure: Time: The development of SLS and the Orion capsule has been ongoing for 15-20 years, far exceeding initial timelines.Cost: The program has reportedly cost around $85 billion, surpassing even the inflation-adjusted cost of the Space Shuttle program.Efficiency: Each SLS launch is estimated to cost $4 billion, an astronomical sum for sending just four people to lunar orbit.Political climate: With the potential return of Donald Trump to the presidency, there's an increased focus on efficiency and dismantling what's seen as wasteful bureaucracy. The SLS was originally conceived as a simple solution - repurposing Space Shuttle parts into a disposable rocket capable of sending a crew capsule towards the Moon. • Spain and Morocco plan to build a tunnel under the Strait of Gibraltar by 2030, connecting Europe and Africa. The project faces challenges due to depth, seabed conditions, and tectonic plate movement, but could boost economies and transport millions annually. 𝗦𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 The Strait of Gibraltar, where the Mediterranean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean, has long been a crucial maritime passage. Now, Spain and Morocco are embarking on an ambitious project to connect Europe and Africa through this narrow waterway. Their goal? To construct a tunnel beneath the Strait by the beginning of the next decade, potentially revolutionizing travel and trade between the two continents. The Strait of Gibraltar's strategic importance cannot be overstated. It serves as a gateway for over 65,000 ships annually, providing a vital link between the Atlantic and Mediterranean, and by extension, the Indian Ocean via the Suez Canal. The strait's narrowest point spans just over 14 kilometers, making it the shortest route between Africa and Europe. While the idea of a permanent crossing isn't new, previous proposals have faced significant challenges. A bridge, for instance, would have to contend with high winds and, more critically, the extreme depth of the strait. Enjoying this article?
