  • Congratulations to Susan Szafir on her promotion to Director of Partnerships and Community Engagement at SOUND! Susan has been an integral member of our Impact and Community Engagement Team since joining Sound as Communications and Community Relations Manager. During a time of rebuilding, she embraced a wide array of responsibilities, delivering with excellence and achieving impactful outcomes. Some of Susan’s many accomplishments include: • Creating SOUND’s Annual Report • Launching internal and external communications like the Internal Newsletter and Monthly CEO Letter • Leading program management for our soon-to-be-refreshed website • Driving growth in grant fundraising efforts, securing 7+ new foundation donors • Supporting community and partner events, including the recent SOUND of Hope Gala • Engaging existing partners while exploring new partnership opportunities In her new role as Director, Susan will lead efforts to strengthen and expand our community partnerships, helping enhance SOUND’s reach, capabilities, and revenue potential.
