SAFPS CONSUMER SERVICES   We have been made aware of a fraudulent communication impersonating the SAFPS. As an organisation, we strive to help keep you safe from fraudsters and it's important to note that our consumer services will NOT cost you a cent. We would like to remind you that we will NEVER:  - Contact you claiming that we will assist you at a cost or ask for payment.   - Contact you claiming to get money back from scammers on your behalf. - Delegate a representative or third party to act on our behalf. - Contact you asking for any personal information if you did not get in touch with us in relation to one of our services. - Contact you via WhatsApp, as this is not currently an official business platform. What we DO:  - Protect you against identity theft with a Protective Registration: www.safps.org.za.   - Provide victim support with our fraud victim listings on our database. - Empower you with a scam prevention toolbox & reporting service via our Yima offering: www.yima.org.za.
