For the last two and a half years, we've been working together with one clear goal in mind — to help science-based researchers and innovators grow in their entrepreneurial journeys, while contributing to forge a robust deep tech ecosystem in Southern Europe. How? 👩🔬 Through S3E Start: helping research teams explore the commercial validity of their deep tech projects and bring their solutions from the lab to the market. 🚀 Through S3E Charge: providing training and mentoring to growth startups so they can refine their business plan and access new investment opportunities. 🤝 Through S3E Reverse: matching scaleups and SMEs with corporates to demonstrate the power of their solutions by tackling industry challenges. But none of this would've been possible without all the S3E participants who took the leap and decided to embark on this journey with us! As many people across the globe welcome the month of December as the gateway towards a new year, for us it's a bittersweet time... this is the last month we'll be officially working together as the #South3E consortium ⌛ While we prepare to wrap up the final weeks of our project, we want to highlight the people behind this initiative, and the work they've done to ensure the success of our mission. First up is HiSeedTech! S3E Charge Success Stories 🌟 Celebrating the achievements of the DeepTech startups we’ve supported in Southern Europe! Today we’re putting the spotlight on Baukunst – Patrimonio Virtual 🏛️ the Spanish startup using 3D digitization and Augmented Reality applications for heritage preservation. Founded by Adolfo Ibañez Vila, with David Cervera as CTO and Sebastian Jans as Chief Design Officer. Some of their biggest successes since completing the S3E Charge accelerator program include: 💫 Being commissioned for several patrimony conservation work in Brazil, such as completing the High Resolution Digitalization of a historical building in Rio de Janeiro and reconstructing 31 sculptures destroyed by a fire using Digital Anastylosis 💫 Reaching the semi-finals at University Startup World Cup 2024 organised by Venture Cup Denmark 💫 Participating in the HortaTech project in collaboration with Fibsen and València Innovation Capital, leading the digital transformation for agriculture in the Spanish region of Valencia We are extremely proud of all their amazing achievements! S3E Charge Success Stories 🌟 Celebrating the achievements of the DeepTech startups we’ve supported in Southern Europe! Today we’re putting the spotlight on Distinkt 🔏 the Spanish startup fighting counterfeiting with their revolutionary smart inks based on patented nanotechnology. Funded by CEO Luca Venza, with Àlex Julià López as CTO, Claudio Roscini as CSO, Mario Borràs Fernández as Product Developer, Mariacristina Turino as R&D Chemist, Naroa Hernández Romero as Lab Technician, and with the support of Travis Hampton as Strategy Advisor and Fundraising Lead.
