Today we’re putting the spotlight on Distinkt 🔏 the Spanish startup fighting counterfeiting with their revolutionary smart inks based on patented nanotechnology. Funded by CEO Luca Venza, with Àlex Julià López as CTO, Claudio Roscini as CSO, Mario Borràs Fernández as Product Developer, Mariacristina Turino as R&D Chemist, Naroa Hernández Romero as Lab Technician, and with the support of Travis Hampton as Strategy Advisor and Fundraising Lead. S3E Start 2024 | Meet the team 💉 DOPANTS, a #MedTech project pioneered by researchers from Hellenic Mediterranean University, including: Minas Stylianakis, Vasileios Tzatzadakis, Anna Mastrogiorgi, Eleftheria Perivola and Marios Fragkioglou. "Our decision to enrol in the S3E Start program stemmed from our desire to transcend the confines of our laboratory and test our innovations in the real world. S3E Start 2024 | Meet the team 👩🔬 OncoMets, a project led by researchers from i3S - Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde, including: Ana Sofia Ribeiro, Joana Paredes, Rita Pereira de Carvalho, Inês Sousa Conde, Bruno Freitas and Bárbara Macedo. They're the team behind ONCOSECRET, an in vitro diagnostic tool for #BreastCancer monitoring that will empower oncologists by enabling early detection and helping to reduce mortality rates. ”As a translational research group, we realised that we didn't have the tools to transform our knowledge into a product that could be made available for the clinical community and for the patients. We found the S3E Start program and thought it had the perfect combination of elements we needed to bring our solution to the market," Ana Ribeiro told us.
