🚛 Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week with Our Future Diesel Technicians! In partnership with the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship, Southland Transportation Group proudly launched Alabama’s first Youth Apprenticeship Program for Diesel Technicians earlier this year! The program invites youth as young as 16 in the 11th and 12th grades to earn while they learn, gaining valuable hands-on experience under the mentorship of skilled journeyworkers. With the transportation industry providing 1 in 13 jobs in Alabama, the demand for skilled diesel technicians has never been greater.
