Our final award highlight is the biggest one yet! A huge congratulations to Amanda Narula for receiving the prestigious 'Can You Imagine' award! This honor is given to the Southwinder who dares to dream big and turns those dreams into reality. Amanda made a monumental impact on our 1-800-GOT-JUNK? businesses in 2024, inspiring everyone around her to strive for greatness every single day. The second-to-last award we’re recognizing is the Southwinder of the Year, awarded to National Sales Director Branden Phillips! If you’ve ever had the chance to speak with BP, even for just a few minutes, you know he’s one of the most intentional and dedicated leaders you’ll ever meet. The quote “Great leaders create leaders” perfectly describes Branden, as his team not only consistently exceeds goals but also shows true passion for the work they do. We’re honored to have him on our team! Congrats on an incredible year, BP!

His vision, drive, and unwavering commitment to excellence and people development have not only propelled Atlanta to record-breaking success but have also made a lasting impact on everyone around him. Kwasi's entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to investing in people set him apart as a true leader. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Kwasi!

It was a monumental year for 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Atlanta Westside. It's only fitting that they were named the 2024 Southwind Business of the Year! Under the exceptional leadership of Dylan Kehr and Kwasi Danso, Atlanta not only consistently breaks records but also prioritizes investing in their people at every opportunity. They truly embody the definition of success, and the sky's the limit for this incredible team. Congrats on an amazing year, ATL!

This year at Southwind, we were fortunate to welcome several new businesses to the family. While all of them hit the ground running in 2024, Fountain Comfort Group's Snowbird Heating & Cooling was undoubtedly the best new business this year! The leadership of Justin Armstrong and Bruce & Jennifer Gleason set the team up for success each and every day and display what it truly means to put your people first. Congrats on an amazing year, Snowbird! We cannot wait to see what 2025 brings for this team.

t's Awards Week! Over the next two weeks, we will be highlighting all of our 2024 Award Winners across all brands in Southwind. Like always, safety comes first! A huge congratulations to Kayvon Washington (1-800-GOT-JUNK? Atlanta) for being named the Safety Ambassador of the Year, and to You Move Me Salt Lake City for being named Safest Business of the Year! We appreciate all your hard work in making sure our teams stay safe!

Sometimes, you meet people who completely redefine what's possible. Josh Herron and Tyler Staszak, two former truck team members who came out of nowhere, are a perfect example of that. I spent some time with them last week at a gala they hosted, and wow, their leadership and growth is exceptional! They started by buying into the Kansas City franchise, and since then, they’ve expanded all over the country. Their journey is so inspiring!! I love that they live by three simple, but powerful statements: - Anything is possible - Invest in people - Change the world And they believe all three go hand-in-hand. At their awards gala, surrounded by 600 people, it was obvious how much Josh and Tyler are all in when it comes to their people. They’ve built something special - not just for themselves, but for the leaders and business owners they’ve helped grow. It was amazing to see how many of their recruits and team members were standing up there with them. What really stuck with me was how empowered and genuinely excited their people were to be there. It’s all about seeing potential in others, giving them a chance, and helping them grow. Josh and Tyler are proof that when you believe in people and invest in them, amazing things happen.
