We now have over 200 students from 30 different schools registered to join the SAE SoCal Section at the SEMA Garage on March 8th. Since we only have 18 local student chapters that means we have a dozen schools traveling hundreds of miles to join us. I expect the final number to be closer to 300. We have 18 companies signed up to recruit. Of that 18 only one is an aerospace company. Given the recent renaissance of aerospace in Southern California, that strikes me as odd. Who aomg my aerospace friends wants to tap into the Baja SAE / Formula SAE / SAE Aero Design talent pool? Drop me a note for more information.
