About us
Spectrum Support, Inc. Iis a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency which helps peoples with developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and engage in social activities within their communities. Spectrum Support is a sought-after community partner. We set the standard that other organizations want to model by using innovations in technology and training. We inspire a welcoming attitude by recognizing the dignity of all people and treating them with respect regardless of their role in the organization. Spectrum Support’s primary customers are people age 14 and older who have barriers that often present significant challenges for them to achieve their life goals. While smart and resourceful, our primary customers may be vulnerable, lack the support of a loving family, and might require help to meet their most basic needs.

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month Every March, the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) and its partners collaborate to lead Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (DDAM). NACDD’s 2025 theme, We’re Here All Year, emphasizes that community, accessibility, and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities should be recognized and championed every day—not just in March.

So impressive Sydney! Sydney went out today to practice driving. By the end of her session she started feeling more confident and we couldn't be prouder! Thanks for your bravery too Michele Little!

Equal access to a good life means more than finding a reason to smile. It’s traveling with confidence, learning new things, spending time with friends, and receiving respect and recognition for a job well done. Jacob and Frankie learn how to make balloon animals at the Walkersville Library. Maybe a new volunteer activity for them?!
