Spire Risk Management along with Blue Cross Blue Shield and the esteemed mayoral candidate, Rolando Pablos, supporting Communicare! Had a GROOVY time at the Disco Gala! We are proud to support an organization such as Communicare, who gives back to the community by providing adult, family medicine, pediatrics, dental, and other medical services. They also supply vaccines and testing to thousands of uninsured residents of Bexar, Hays and Kendall counties. #partnership #givingbacktothecommunity #discofever

Reason #126 on why I love my job. Today my dad had a procedure on his heart. I took the morning off to go to the hospital to be with him and my mom. I had a client renewal meeting scheduled for this afternoon that I intended to be at. I had the presentation in my laptop bag with me at the hospital. My dads procedure came back abnormal and we were waiting to talk to the Dr. The partner/producer I had the client renewal meeting scheduled with for this afternoon calls me to check on my dad. I give him the update and he tells me not to come to the client meeting. To stay with my dad. He tells me he’ll drive to me (at the hospital) to pick up the presentation. He drove clear across town to get these, then back across town for the meeting. I told him to call me during the meeting if he needed me. He told me “Absolutely not. I’m not calling you. I’ll update you tomorrow. Go be with your dad.” Sometimes we take jobs for remote work, money, vacation, etc. I took this job solely because of the people I work with. And I’m glad I did. #SpireRiskManagement

Thank you Megan Valicevic Pepitone for inviting us out today! At Spire, we want to give back to the community while keeping up with servicing our clients. Today we recruited some of our staff and their family members to volunteer at Daily Bread Ministries. It was an informative and moving experience to hear about Daily Beead’s mission and ministry to help those in need.
