Marsh worked his way through the ranks within EMS as an EMT up through the Director of Operations for both small rural areas and Large Metropolitan high performance EMS Systems in the largest state in the US. From mass casualties to staring down the barrel on calls, Marsh has seen it all and is taking his tactical medical experience to help other houses or organizations get better. Commanding Officer Navy Reserrve T-AH 20 USNS Comfort. CAPT Wiemann is a ER Nurse and Commanding Officer for the USNS Comfort. Jake is a Tactical Medic for the SWAT Team In Lees Summit Missouri. He is also a Firefighter and Paramedic for Lees Summit Missouri. He’s a ER Trauma Nurse, as well. With a resume like his- the conversation could have gone in so many different directions. Jake is a wealth of knowledge, a great coach and trainer, with a history of being coached as a collegiate athlete. He’s traveled around the world treating some of the most horrific disease states and or challenging combat zones but he has an intangible disposition that is extremely calming. I think his people would follow him anywhere. I know I would. We talked about balance, mental health, brotherhood-checking in. He’s done some pretty awesome things in his firehouse to check in with his battle buddies.
