🎉 This past Thursday, over 100 people gathered at the Davenport Grand Hotel to celebrate STA CEO E. Susan Meyer’s incredible 19-year tenure as she prepares for retirement. #ThankYouSusan #STALegacy #TransitChampion Under Susan’s leadership, STA achieved transformative milestones: implementing the STA Moving Forward plan, launching City Line (the region’s first Bus Rapid Transit service), electrifying 25% of the Fixed Route fleet, and more. The night was filled with heartfelt stories and tributes. From mentorship to meaningful personal connections, her impact was undeniable. “Susan exemplifies what outstanding leadership looks like,” said STA Board Member and Airway Heights City Council Member Hank Bynaker. “It’s been a privilege and honor to serve with her.” "I’ve been amazed by the things Susan has said and done. They’ve always made perfect sense, but they weren’t things I would have thought of myself,” STA Chair Pro-Tempore of the Board and City of Spokane Valley Mayor Pam Haley. Susan, thank you for your vision, dedication, and lasting legacy. Wishing you a happy and well-deserved retirement! 💙🚍
