The team's parent organization, Sporting Club, consists of the following five entrepreneurs in the Kansas City business community: The Patterson Family, Cliff Illig, Robb Heineman, Greg Maday and Pat Curran. Sporting Kansas City is a charter member of Major League Soccer and plays at state-of-the-art Sporting Park, which opened in June 2011 as one of the best stadiums of its size in the world.

Sporting Kansas City is back for the 2025 season, and so are our Victory Kids 💙🎉 During Wednesday's game, we honored 10-year-old Eva Garrett! In April of 2023, Eva was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) and needed a bone marrow transplant. Thankfully, one of her sisters was a perfect match! Eva received her transplant on July 5, 2023, and spent 55 days at Children's Mercy Kansas City. Though the experience was difficult for her and her family, Eva is doing great and is back at school with all of her friends again! 🙌👏 We're so glad we got to meet and honor Eva this past week!

HappyBottoms fills a crucial need in our community, providing diapers to families in the Kansas City area. In 2024 alone, HappyBottoms distributed 4.8 million diapers.
