ATHTECH 2023, MALTA We participated in the 5th edition of AthTech, the Athletics Technology Conference organized by European Athletics and OpenTrack, which took place in Malta on September 21-22. We showcased our solutions developed in Italy, designed to enhance the appeal and ease of managing athletics: Atletica.me and CallRoom. Atletica.me is a community for all those who love athletics and wish to stay updated on the results of their favorite athletes. CallRoom is a platform built for federations seeking an easy and fast way to manage competitions, venues, and athletes while providing new services for everyone. It was a pleasure to meet many like-minded individuals who share our vision and goals. With more than 80 participants from 38 countries representing their companies or National Federations, we engaged in meaningful discussions alongside World Athletics and European Athletics and expanded our valuable network. We want to express our appreciation to the organisers and all the participants for creating such an inspiring experience.

With such data Sportwave is able to create services for everyone is involved in sport (from athletes to sport top brands) and to release platform and apps to promote sport and collect even more data. Our main projects: - Atletica.me is a social platform where users get news about their own favourite Italian track and field athletes, such as next competitions or last results, and get access to advanced and professional tools to analyze their sport careers. Data comes from trusted sources and are elaborated by the platform. - CallRoom is the official app of FIDAL Emilia-Romagna. It makes easy to find events and places to watch and practise athletics. NUOVO ANNO, NUOVA SFIDA 🚀 Abbiamo inaugurato il 2024 con un nuovo progetto: un CONTAGIRI digitale integrato nell’app di CallRoom che permette ai giudici di monitorare il numero di giri mancanti di ciascun atleta. Lo abbiamo testato per la prima volta in gara durante i Campionati Regionali Indoor di Parma sui 1500m e i 3000m, dove ogni atleta ha indossato un dispositivo (simile a un orologio ⌚️) associato al proprio numero di pettorale. L’informazione è a disposizione dei giudici sull’app e prossimamente verrà resa disponibile LIVE per tutti gli utenti per poter seguire la gara comodamente dagli spalti o da casa. Il nostro obiettivo è quello di costruire soluzioni innovative per l’atletica e siamo fieri di svilupparle insieme a FIDAL Emilia Romagna. #atletica #digital
