Spread the Word Nevada turns 24! 🎂🎈⁠ ⁠ Today, we proudly celebrate 24 years of promoting literacy and changing lives! What started with one librarian's simple act of kindness has blossomed into a movement that has reached children and families across the state. Thanks to the dedication of our incredible team throughout the years, and the support of our amazing community, we've grown into a thriving organization with a brand new building and an even greater capacity to serve. ⁠ ⁠ We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the countless individuals, volunteers, and supporters who have played an essential role in our journey. Your generosity and commitment have helped us place books into the hands of children who need them most, empowering them with the tools to succeed. ⁠ ⁠ But our story is far from over. Now more than ever, education is at stake. Nevada's children face critical challenges, and the need for literacy has never been greater. As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in our mission to inspire a love of reading and learning. We've had some truly fantastic groups team up with us over the past few weeks, and we can't thank them enough! 🎉 Huge shoutout to Linea Solutions for going all out in an amazing book drive! This team flew in from all over the country and donated over 250 books! Another big round of applause for The Hartford Legal Staff and Shine City Project, who rolled up their sleeves and put in the work to help us prep gently used books for their next adventure in the community. It’s groups like these that keep our mission going strong, and we’re beyond grateful!

I arranged a volunteer event for Spread the Word Nevada, a children’s literacy nonprofit putting books in the hands of Nevada’s children that can’t afford them. Team Sphere responded in a big way - we cleaned 1,800 used books and made them all look like-new. #teamsphere #msgcares #spreadthewordNV
