🔒 Enhancing Safety and Infrastructure: Miami-Dade County School Board Initiatives 🔒 The Miami-Dade County School Board is making significant advancements in upgrading school facilities, focusing on safety and modernization. These improvements are part of the General Obligation Bond (GOB) initiative, demonstrating a commitment to providing secure and contemporary learning environments for students. 📸 Security Camera Upgrades: Coral Gables Senior High School: With an $18.9 million budget, this project includes extensive upgrades to security cameras, alongside window replacements and HVAC improvements. Completion is expected by October 2024. Carol City Middle School: Allocated $6.9 million, this project features campus-wide security alarm replacements and additional renovations, also scheduled for completion by October 2024. These projects are pivotal in enhancing the safety and functionality of educational facilities across Miami-Dade County.
