The State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI and swissuniversities have launched the process for the Swiss #Roadmap for #Research #Infrastructures #2027. The Swiss Roadmap for Research Infrastructures is a report on the status and development of national and international research infrastructures. La situation du financement de la formation, recherche et innovation est très inquiétante autant à court terme qu'à long terme. Je me positionne du côté de swissuniversities qui "appelle avec les acteurs et actrices du domaine FRI à #investir à #long #terme et avec une vision d’avenir dans l'innovation en Suisse, et à #ne #pas se concentrer exclusivement sur la réduction des dépenses à court terme. Avec la perte de sa position de pointe dans la formation, la recherche et l’innovation, la Suisse risque des désavantages structurels durables et donc des pertes économiques qui ne pourront guère être rattrapées."

We had a great time presenting the Semantic TEI project at the CIDOC conference in Amsterdam. The project was funded by swissuniversities and it allowed us, together with Thomas Hänsli, George Bruseker and Matthew Fielding to propose a CIDOC compatible way of publishing text data generated by digital scholarly editing. fotoMoniqueKooijmans
