The St. Helena Chamber and the Beautification Foundation are thrilled to announce artist Bryan Valenzuela for the City’s first approved mural project.
This is all part of "Chamber Creates," an initiative showcasing the Chamber's creativity and industriousness for St. Helena by spearheading various projects that celebrate our community and support business through public art.
Bryan Valenzuela is bringing his unique artistic vision to our Historic Shopping District, and we couldn’t be more excited! Known for his distinctive technique of creating stunning images using handwritten text, Bryan’s work will transform the Wydown Hotel's exterior into a masterpiece.
The Mural, called "Heritage" will feature a majestic Oak Tree 🌳, symbolizing stability, strength, and endurance. The tree is surrounded by tree rings of time that tell a story of St. Helena's deep-rooted history.
Valenzuela’s signature text drawing technique will capture light, shadow, and shape.
His inspiration is from a quote from Kahlil Gibran, “Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky,” weaving our town’s rich history into a timeless Napa Valley scene.
The project kicks off early September and will take about four weeks to complete. Swing by 1424 Main Street to witness this incredible transformation in real time!
Join us in celebrating art, history, and the vibrant community spirit that makes #MyStHelena so special.
