Yesterday, we celebrated one year as a church here in Indianapolis. Over the last week, I’ve been reflecting a lot on all that has happened. The hundreds of intricate ways that the Spirit of God has been moving amongst—at first—a small group of faithful people who have been contending for God to move in a fresh way here in the city. 12 months later, there is a church that is becoming a haven for broken people who practice the way of Jesus, participate in community, and permeate the world. This past week was—in many ways—both a culmination of years worth of prayers AND a glimpse of what is to come. People encountering Jesus, new life being found, and lives being restored. Incredibly thankful for Jake Hirsch our amazing staff, all of our leaders, and the wonderful people we get to do life with at The Sanctuary. I’m also so thankful to any of you reading this who have supported us through prayer, service, or financially over the last few years. I hope these photos bring a smile to your face at the ways in which the Jesus is moving here in our city. Here’s to 1 year, church family. Until Indianapolis looks like Heaven, the journey continues…
