  • We were honored to recently host Jim Mintern, CRH's incoming Chief Executive Officer at our Beck Street location in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was exciting to showcase our local operations! Chief Financial Officer at CRH

I recently spent time visiting our Americas Materials and Oldcastle APG businesses in several states. I travelled to Utah, Louisiana, Florida, Michigan and Georgia. That’s a lot of miles but seeing the different parts of our business first-hand and meeting the people who work there is very important to me. Our materials business is the foundation for so much of what we do in CRH, providing the essential materials for our road, infrastructure and outdoor living solutions. Our APG business is the home of CRH’s Outdoor Living Solutions, transforming outdoor environments into dynamic living spaces for communities, businesses and residential customers. It was a pleasure to spend time with our local teams, including so many of our early in career talent and to experience their passion and energy for the work that they do. I couldn’t help but notice that everyone I met shared the same intense focus on delivering for our customers and solving the unique and evolving challenges they face. Such a great example of CRH living its purpose and standing together to reinvent the way our world is built. My thanks to Staker Parson Materials & Construction, Michigan Paving & Materials, Barriere Construction, Preferred Materials, Inc, Conrad Yelvington Distributors and Oldcastle APG for such a warm welcome.

  • Last week, Staker Parson was pleased to host the ABC’s Utah Chapter’s monthly lecture series for Women in Construction. Members gathered at our local office to hear Kaitlyn Eaton, president of the National Association of Women in Construction, present on the importance of investing in career development. She specifically touched on the value professional sponsorships provide when championing individual career development and growth. We are proud to have sponsored this amazing chapter and look forward to continuing our partnership for future events. @abcassocation @NAWIC
