Fostering the development and growth of minority businesses in Stark County.

About us

The Stark County Minority Business Association (SCMBA) is a 501(C) (3) organization comprised of business leaders invested in the economic growth of Stark County's Community and beyond. Since its inception in 2008, the organization has grown its scope and members, focusing on improved communications and collaboration between minority businesses and the other entrepreneurs in and throughout the Stark County area. SCMBA provides services to minority business organizations and serves as a resource for referrals and recommendations. Our goal is to enhance partnerships between minority business members and majority-owned businesses to create greater economic impact. Minority-owned businesses will experience economic stability and job growth while majority-owned businesses and corporations will be able to fill supply chain needs. We expect to accomplish this through collaboration and information. SCMBA is a proud host of the Minority Business Assistance Center (Tier 1) for the Akron Region.
