Startup Hungary 2024 Wrapped 🪅 From spotlighting Hungarian success stories to meet-ups with global VCs, this year was a founder frenzy for us. 💡 We clocked nearly 100k minutes of startup wisdom through our events. 🍕 Saw 21 people confess their love for pizza. 💸 And cheered as €68M+ was raised by local startups. 🌟 The EU has confirmed its plans to make EU Inc a reality in 2025—a huge step towards breaking down barriers for startups across Europe. The team behind The EU Inc Petition has crowdsourced a detailed legal proposal to show exactly how this can work. As partners in this initiative, we’re proud to see this gaining traction in Brussels! With 13k+ signatures, the petition is now on the EU Commission's radar. This November, we were proud to see the Econverse V4 - Budapest Startup Challenge come to life, organized by Engame Academy in collaboration with Econverse.org 🌍 🚀 The energy was inspiring, with talented teens, great mentors, and expert jury members all coming together to support the next generation of innovators. The teams did an incredible job developing and pitching their ideas in just two days!
