Team #EMSA had an amazing day today at the #OurPromise event in Downtown Sacramento!    EMSA had a farmer’s market-themed booth, selling homemade goodies and fresh produce. All proceeds are going to the FIREFIGHTERS BURN INSTITUTE to support their incredible work.    EMSA also held a SpokesPET competition to commemorate the launch of this year’s Our Promise campaign. Today EMS professionals from across the state are gathering at the 27th Annual EMS for Children Educational Forum for a day of learning, collaboration, and networking!   Participants are diving into important youth advocacy topics including difficult deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, drowning prevention, and insights into family perspectives on behavioral health.    A big thank you to our sponsors, Life-Assist, Mila Medical, Inc., and iSimulate for their generous support, for helping make this event possible! Many thanks to EMSA’s Disaster Medical Services (DMS) division for their support today in delivering holiday meals for children in the Sacramento City Unified School District. The DMS team used a 26-foot box truck to transport 10 pallets of nutritious boxed lunches from Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services to the district's nutrition warehouse. The efforts of everyone involved help ensure that more kids have meals to take home over the upcoming holiday break. Happy Halloween from California EMSA!    We turned up the heat today with our annual Halloween Party & Chili Cookoff... and it was nothing short of spellbinding!    The costumes were frightfully fabulous, and the chili was out of this world!
