We are ready to roll! Our studio is located in downtown #Staunton, VA in the Staunton Innovation Hub. It features a wirelessly operated, truss-mounted Aputure lighting system that can be programmed to fit any mood, match brand colors or create dynamic lighting effects. The space also features wireless video feed throughout and an adjustable client video village. The next phase of our build will be to convert the existing 19x12 white wall into a single-wall cyclorama. Parts are en route with a completion date targeting 12/1. Look for more updates soon. Please join us in congratulating Sue Godschalk, who has been named the Chief Executive Officer of Federated Auto Parts!
Sue Godschalk has been named chief executive officer of Federated Auto Parts, one of the largest auto parts distribution and marketing organizations in North America. Following a vote by the Federated executive committee on Oct. 23, it was decided that Godschalk, president of Federated Auto Parts, will ascend to the CEO role as of January 1, 2025, replacing retiring CEO Larry Pavey. During her 39-year career at Federated Auto Parts, Godschalk has held several management and financial roles of increasing responsibility, including office manager, assistant general manager, treasurer and vice president, before being named president in 2020. Early in her career, she worked as a jobber store manager, learning the business from the ground up before joining Federated soon after it was formed. “Federated has been on a path of sustained growth and my goal is to continue the successful strategies that have led us in such a positive direction,” said Godschalk. “I am proud to lead a team of so many talented professionals at Federated who are dedicated to enhancing value for our members, strengthening relationships with our supplier partners, and collaborating with our APSG partners at The Alliance and The Pronto Network. I look forward to the great things we will accomplish together.” The Automotive Parts Services Group (APSG) is a joint partnership between the Federated Alliance and The Pronto Network and is made up of 300 member companies with over 5,000 locations and 80,000 employees primarily in North America.

Last week, we celebrated the opening of Cottonwood Commercial's office downtown at 13 S New Street with a ribbon cutting! A commercial real estate brokerage established in 1970, they are based in Harrisonburg, Virginia and this office marks their second location in Virginia.
